The otters themselves make a very similar sound, which might be why this fellow is so interested in me. Or perhaps it was near to suppertime. |

With the sun peeking out briefly for the first time all day, a sun-nap seemed in order. But the challenge was: How do you stay snugly entwined in the bosom of your siblings and still remain favourably on top? I could have spent the entire day watching the pile of babies roll and change (and I'm quite sure it went on all day). The baby on the bottom would think, "Hey, I'm on the bottom -- time to get on top!" and would then wriggle and squirm her way to the top. This would last for a few moments and then the baby newly on the bottom would think, "Hey, I'm on the bottom..." and so it went, endlessly. |
