Street-lights are pleas-ing, 
snow-flakes are teas-ing, 
Cen-tral Park's freez-ing,

The stars in the heav-ens are so bright, 
they tell of a ba-by that was born on this night.

Rest-'rant signs sway-ing, 
blue_skies are gray-ing, 
ev-'ry-one's say-ing, 
it's Christ-mas in New York. 

Sky-scrap-ers gleam-ing, 
Broad-way lights beam-ing, 
chil-dren are dream-ing, 
it's Christ-mas in New York. 

The lights on the Christ-mas tree are fine, 
the sights of the shop-ping sprees, the gifts, yours and mine. 

Stock-ings are fill-ing, 
cham-pagne is chill-ing, 
it's all so thrill-ing, 
it's Christ-mas in New York. 

Log fires are burn-ing, 
San-ta's re-turn-ing, 
fill-ing each yearn-ing, 
it's Christ-mas in New York.
