Once again braving the subway, off to the World Trade Centre, Battery Park, and the Hudson River.
Most of the subway stations are quite nicely refurbished, but this station was the NY stereotype of crime shows
Manhattan has urban beaches just like Honolulu's or San Francisco's
Through the World Trade Centre, and to the river -- quite a glitzy locale
My very first sight of the Statue of Liberty
Beautiful South Cove, where the painters meet
Enchanted gardens
And a lavish and delicious dinner at Steamers Landing -- escargot, monkfish with calamari, sesame swordfish, and... bourbon bread pudding!
